ACNielsen is looking for a Sales Consultant for our Merchandising Services Business to complete the team in Frankfurt/Main.

Your main tasks:

• Develop and support a dedicated Merchandising Services (MS) client base
• Manage and monitor key client activity through a defined Client Management Process to ensure that client needs and expectations are met and developed
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with both existing ACNielsen clients and non-ACNielsen clients supported by products and services targeted to retailer and manufacturer
• Handle sales, delivering and implementing full range of MS products and services (includes software, training and consulting projects) maximising client value and ROI, leveraging the use of client's internal systems and data streams
• Accountable for the individual financial target as defined within the annual MS budget
  

Requirements:

• University degree or FH
• Proven sales track record of minimum 1 year (ideally)
• Sound understanding of sales processes and account management, able to identify new and additional revenue opportunities
• Expertise in the selling of front end and middleware software solutions and services (ideally)
• Experience in either retailer or manufacturer environments (ideally)
• Self starter with high levels of motivation, commitment, drive and enthusiasm
• Computer literate and good understanding of software operating systems and database structures (Access, dbase or SQL ) - no programming
• Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills
• Solution oriented, analytical and creative
• Category management knowledge or interest in
• Fluent in written and spoken German and English
• Good knowledge of MS office (Excel, Access, Power Point etc)
• Team oriented
• Positive thinking
